Bio - Ron Lancaster - Director

Ron Lancaster is an educator and has taught high school students in School District 42 for twenty years. Ron has been an innovator and pioneer in Career education for many years. He has set-up and designed programs for the School District in his role as District Coordinator of Career Education. Recently establishing career and trades program at Samuel Robertson Secondary and in his role as Director of Ridge Meadows College. Ron believes the only way to keep school relevant and interesting for students is to be engaging students in real world learning opportunities. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Ron has also been a department head and principal of Summer School for the District.

As the coordinator of Career Programs in the district, Ron has provided leadership both at the district level and the provincial level. Ron has served as an executive member on the Career Education Society of B.C. and has been honoured with a “lifetime” honorary membership for years of service at the provincial level.
