Chrissy Miller
    Office Manager

Chrissy Miller grew up in the busy district of East Vancouver and attended Killarney Secondary, which was where she had her first taste for graphic design. In 2006 she moved to the small but fast growing town of Pitt Meadows where she graduated in 2008. Shortly after, Chrissy set out to explore her creative side by diving into the ever-changing world of design and visual communications. Attending the British Columbia Institute of Technology, she was given the opportunity to learn more about graphic design, along with visual composition and layout, colour theory and practical colour management to name a few.

Chrissy joined the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce team in the summer of 2012 where she was elated to put her talent to good use. In this role, she has become inspired to complete the strategic design for business, digital darkroom and computerized accounting at BCIT to help develop her skills for her position at the Chamber. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist and an aspiring multidisciplinary designer, Chrissy hopes to use her educational experience and her vast knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, as well Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excell and PowerPoint software to help her thrive in all marketing and design aspects of the Chamber of Commerce.

Currently living in Maple Ridge, Chrissy has recently set out to embark on a new adventure. Following her passion for understanding human behavior as well, her strong desire to help people overcome their problems, she is currently enrolled at Thompson Rivers University and Douglas College for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Combined with a never-ending supply of coffee and patience, she hopes to achieve her dream of receiving her masters in psychology, majoring in clinical sciences. With her strong sense of community pride, she wishes to use her studies to help support local businesses and the residence of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
